Usual just arrived on Arbitrum! This marks a pivotal moment in our journey to becoming the most used stablecoin in crypto. Expanding beyond Ethereum and launching on Arbitrum is the first major step in Usual's cross-chain expansion, and we’re confident this is only the beginning.

Why Arbitrum?

Arbitrum, one of the leading Layer 2 scaling solutions for Ethereum, offers unparalleled scalability and drastically lower fees, making it the perfect ecosystem for Usual’s expansion. By integrating Usual into Arbitrum’s ecosystem, we aim to tap into its vibrant DeFi landscape and bring USD0 and USD0++ to a wider audience.

Usual demonstrated remarkable growth on Ethereum, and we plan to replicate this success on Arbitrum with the added benefits of faster, cheaper transactions. Our goal is clear: make Usual the most used stablecoin across chains, and Arbitrum is just the first step.

Usual’s Cross-Chain Journey

This launch is more than just a technical integration—it's the beginning of Usual's cross-chain journey. We’re committed to creating a truly decentralized stablecoin that can be used across multiple blockchains, ensuring that our users can seamlessly interact with DeFi ecosystems regardless of the chain they are on. Arbitrum is the first, but it will not be the last. Expect to see Usual launching on more Layer 2s and Layer 1 chains in the coming months.

Key Day 1 Partners

To ensure a seamless launch on Arbitrum, we’ve partnered with key players in the ecosystem as well as are ready to expand on some of our Ethereum partners on this new chain. These Day 1 partners are instrumental in establishing Usual on Arbitrum and will help us expand quickly within the ecosystem. Let’s break down how these partnerships will work:

  • Stargate: This LayerZero-powered bridge enables seamless, secure transfers between Ethereum and Arbitrum, making it easier for users to bridge USD0 and USD0++ between chains. Learn more here.

  • Camelot: As Arbitrum’s first DEX, Camelot will be the primary liquidity provider for Usual, ensuring USD0 has deep liquidity right from the start. Explore Camelot.

  • Pendle: Our long-time partner, Pendle will offer PT/YT pools for USD0 and USD0++, providing innovative yield-bearing opportunities on Arbitrum as we expand liquidity and composability. Check out Pendle.

  • Silo: Our partnership with Silo will allow USD0++ holders to leverage their assets and create even more composable DeFi strategies. Users can optimize yields, borrowing and lending against USD0++ in a flexible and efficient manner. Learn about Silo.

  • GammaSwap: As an innovative platform that protects against impermanent loss, GammaSwap allows liquidity providers to hedge their positions with USD0, offering users an extra layer of stability as they enter liquidity pools on Arbitrum. Discover GammaSwap.

  • Avalon Labs: As a hub of Bitcoin finance, Avalon Labs bridges DeFi and CeDeFi lending markets. Avalon Labs is a partner of choice for leveraging yield from USD0++ and other composed Usual assets in the future. Visit Avalon Labs

Cutting-Edge Oracle Solutions with Pyth and Chainlink

To ensure the utmost security, accuracy, and transparency in pricing data, we’ve integrated with both Pyth on Arbitrum. Their oracle provids real-time, tamper-resistant pricing data for USD0 and USD0++, allowing our ecosystem to function with high precision and reliability.

Our multi-oracle setup is designed to support Usual's expanding footprint across DeFi and ensures that USD0 and USD0++ will continue to have secure and up-to-date data feeds, not just on Arbitrum but across all future chains in our roadmap. By having this infrastructure ready, we’re laying the groundwork for a truly cross-chain stablecoin that can seamlessly operate on any chain we integrate with in the future.

What’s Next for Usual?

The launch on Arbitrum is just the start of Usual’s cross-chain vision. After solidifying our presence on Arbitrum, we’re aiming for even greater heights. With LayerZero’s cross-chain infrastructure, Usual will soon be able to interact with other Layer 2s and even Layer 1 ecosystems, making it an essential asset across multiple blockchain landscapes.

Beyond expanding to other chains, we’re working with new partners, integrating deeper into DeFi protocols, and offering users more ways to earn, lend, and trade with USD0 and USD0++. The goal is simple: to become the most used stablecoin in DeFi and CeFi.

Looking Forward

Alongside our dedicated launch partners, we’re also in discussions with some of our established partners—including PancakeSwap, Abracadabra, Gyroscope, and Balancer—to bring even more integrations to Arbitrum. Additionally, we’re actively exploring collaborations with dozens of other protocols in the ecosystem to create an even stronger presence on Arbitrum, taking Usual to the top.

Join us in this exciting journey—bridge your assets via Stargate, hedge your liquidity with GammaSwap, and get ready for Usual’s next big move!

Stay tuned as we continue to grow, innovate, and expand across the crypto ecosystem.
